A picture says more then a thousand words - in this case, a video must be telling a whole lot more! We have, for your viewing pleasure, put together a short gameplay video from the latest build of the game (which is the downloadable version here on this site - just click on the menu to the left).

Enjoy!

I would like, on behalf of Bismuth, to thank anyone who attented the now finished Indie9000 game jam and particular the organizers of the event... it has been a bang of a weekend with plenty of good ideas, little sleep and tons of fun!

Team Bismuth was fortunate enough to win the category of Best Aesthetics (graphics and sound) and we are very proud of this. Also, a big congratulation to anyone else who won in the various categories!

We'll see you at the next event!

We are planning to keep developing Planet of the Cy-Bugs in the future once Mutanimalz is closer to a release of some sort. Stay tuned!

Indie9000 has now officially been going on for about 9 hours and the theme that was choosen this time around was: "Out of this world" - great stuff!

Many great ideas was pitched earlier from all the teams and we, Bismuth, decided to go for a top-down view racing/deathmatch game where you control a small alien insect that can spit acid, lay eggs, steal larvals from other players and just running around being a nasty little bugger. We will upload some screenshots once we get a version running that is more then a prototype and got some actual gameplay action. Stay tuned!

Update:
The deadline is almost upon us! At 10:00 the whistles are blown and everybody is going to check each others games out and decide who is the winner of both graphics, sound, best design and various other categories.

Here is a preview of Planet of the Cy-Bugs!
